IGREJA NOSSA SENHORA DE NAZARÉ
FREI AGOSTINHO DE SANTA MARIA INFORMA QUE A CONSTRUÇÃO DO TEMPO É NO ANO DE 1627, A DEVOÇÃO DE NOSSA SENHORA DE NAZARÉ É ORIGINÁRIA DE PORTUGAL, DEVIDO AS SEMELHANÇAS ENTRE A PAISAGEM DA CIDADE DO CABO DE SANTO AGOSTINHO E PROMONTÓRIO DA PRAIA DE NAZARÉ, EM ALCOBAÇA, PORTUGAL. FOI RECONSTRUÍDA POR PEDRO DIAS FONSECA NO ANO DE 1640 E COMPLETOU NO ANO DE 1648. É UM LOCAL MUITO VISITADO POR FIÉIS.
OUR LADY OF NAZARETH CHURCH
Augustine Friar of Saint Mary informs that the construction of this temple is from 1627, the devotion of Our Lady of Narareth is originally from Portugal, because of the resemblance between Cabo de Santo Agostinho City’s landscape and the promontory of Nazareth Beach, in Alcobaça, Portugal. It was rebuilt by Pedro Dias de Fonseca 1640 and finished in 1648. It is a very visited place by the faithful people.
